Amazing Places for Late Night Eats in Buffalo

We've all been there, it's after midnight and maybe you've had a couple (too many) adult beverages...Then it hits you, hunger. Luckily we live in one of the best cities in the country for foodies late at night (trust me, I've gone drinking and eating in every major US city). Here are my Top 5 Best Places for Late Night Food in The Queen City.

Towne Restaurant

Towne is a fan favorite for a variety of reasons. First and foremost being that it's open 23 hours a day! All you have to do is look at a menu to figure out this is a place that caters to night owls..Like all great diners, if the lights are on, they're serving breakfast which is really important when the craving for a spinach and feta omelet hits you at 3 am. Not a breakfast person? Not to worry, Towne has enough Greek dinners on their menu to keep your stomach at bay for days. If you're an eggplant fan you really can't go wrong with the Moussaka (Alternate layers of eggplant, ground beef and potatoes and topped with a thick béchamel sauce).

Here's the best part - nothing is going to break the bank, in fact most of the menu selections will be covered by the quarters and crumpled up dollar bills you've been stuffing into your pockets as you've gotten change for drinks throughout the night.

Denny's

You don't have to say it, I know what you're thinking: "Denny's? That's a national chain, what's it doing on THIS list?" Well to be honest, I had to throw a bone to the people that might not always be going out in Buffalo city proper. Plus, Denny's has a knock out menu and they're open 24/7! While it's certainly not going to win any culinary awards or claim the top spot in the "Local" category, Denny's delivers a solid experience, reasonable prices and there's one within any designated driver's radius. In case you're wondering, I go for the Moons Over My Hammy. Every. Single. Time.

Jim's Steakout

If you're from Buffalo you knew this was going to end up on the list. Possibly Buffalo's favorite late night food joint, Jim's slogan is "If You're Up, We're Probably Open" and for good reason too they're open 10:30am to 5:00 am SEVEN DAYS A WEEK.

Like most people from Buffalo, I know Jim's not for their steak hoagies (which are incredible, by the way) but for their CHICKEN FINGER SUB. I order mine hot, with blue cheese, no onions, you need to know this in case you see me out and want to make a good impression.
