After giving a ticket to one woman, this police officer never thought he was going to get a hand written thank you for it. Most people want to cuss out the police after getting a ticket, but one woman did something that every police officer would appreciate.

A woman was issued a speeding ticket over Labor Day weekend and as the officer was walking back to his car to leave, she quickly gave him a note and drove away before he could read it. The letter ended up on the police department's Facebook page shortly after:

Mr. Officer,

 

Shame on me for speeding. There is a lot of publicity (negative) about police officers and your job is very dangerous. I want you to know that my family and I feel very blessed to be protected by wonderful people like you. So Thank You!
